We are family of 5 people, father retired civil engineer, mother is housewife, Brother is working as software engineer, married and sis-in-law working as Doctor have 1 kid, myself working as software engineer married , my wife is also software engineer having 2 kids, Sister is M.B.A and married.
Essential Advice
Testing is not like some to check which is working or not working, you have to have patience need to have programming experience or knowledge and passionate to keep learning about new technology.

Present day testing has grown into bigger space, it has cloud, SAP, telecom, banking etc., you need to be technically very competitive in order to stay.

Currently I am working as QA Lead, responsibility is to develop automation framework using open source tool selenium, mentoring the team and automating the test cases so that we can reduce the manual effort.

Have patience when things are not working in your way, wait for opportunity, keep looking at new trend in the industry update accordingly.

Started as developer during recession time around 10 years back, worked as a developer,tester and now team lead. Over 10 years initial days were days where I hungry to learn the things, career shifted from developement to QA(no regrets) and enjoying the responsibility
