Working Life Management:
This was a challenge, as the distance of travel was taking its toll on Work Life Balance. The best way was to make sure that the weekends were kept free for family activities. Once in a while, had to take Work from Homes to attend to home needs. After all, even now we need to do our Home Works...

The Decisions That Matter
12+ years in 3 companies. The decision at each point to move on has been the most important decisions, in spite of the affection you feel to the company and more towards the products that you work on.
The Journey So Far:
I started my work in a Product Company (the experience which I am still looking out for) as well as with multiple Services Company. What I have seen in that your creativity is enhanced and grown in Product or Start Up Services companies.
Other Thoughts:
I am currently creating a tool for QA Project Management, which I hope to complete in a weeks time or two. However, I would like to launch and share this at a right community, and was hoping that Silicon India would be the right platform.
Role Model:
My Manager from my first company has been a solid Role Model who has guided me and has helped me grow to what I am today. He has shown the importance of grooming team and creativity as well as how to handle Personal and Professional decisions with the team.
Plans For The Future:
Being able to share knowledge gained and be an active member in communities and discussions. Though my goal is to be able to retire outside the field of IT, this is still a long way out.
Growth Strategy:
Helping the team grow itself gives you an insight of how you need to grow and this has been a great learning curve. I believe that I am successful when my team is successful, not just in terms of monetary gains, but also in terms of knowledge and their creative exposure.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Personally, I feel that the current environment, compared to how it was 10 years ago has degraded. Attitude of resources and the aim of business has crept into making people objectified. I also believe that a majority of the top firms and the hype of IT has resulted in under skilled resources...
