My current role is OF QA now.I maintain the quality of software on which i am working.earlier role was only dedicated to testing of software but now i work on process also. The process by which i can maintain the quality of software.

Be clear on knowledge .Do not think of people saying QA is for loser who do not code.There is much opportunity there and have great onsite opportunity as compared to development.

The Journey So Far
i have started with very small company but a learn lot there.I accidently come on QA .Earlier i was on dev side but due to recession i join QA job.In starting i feel myself like a failure but as time crosses ,i found great opportunity and way to succeed.Now i enjoy my career very much.

As QA i have great responsibility now.I work closely with client to know the requirement and expectation from software .i also work on process which needs to implement so that software quality can be maintain.

Mr APJ Abdul kalam . He is the person who teach you to believe on yourself.

Now there are many process comes under QA job and now client and company understand the importance of QA team.

Automation testing by free tools going to be next big thing and it great for everyone while doing testing of big project.
Degrees that Matter
It depends upon your career interest .If your interested in automation do automation certification otherwise go for process certification to go up on ladder.
