Microsoft Visual Studio 2010: Enhancing Developer-Tester Collaboration

Bangalore: One of the reasons for a poor quality of software is inappropriate testing. But what is that results into inappropriate testing? Most of the Test centers operate as isolated silos and have little or no interactions with the development teams. This is severe in case where the testing Centers are completely external and act as independent entities offering testing service to an organization. This has become a major trend in the last decade.
There is a prominent need for ‘teamwork’ between developers and testers and to deploy such co-ordination, the video below describes the six mechanisms in Visual Studio 2010 which enable more effective collaboration between developers and testers. These mechanisms include tools to create actionable bugs, debug historical events, and automate functional testing.
