The Journey So Far
Initially when i first joined Codon Software, I felt really good because this is my first job. when i started to work deeply with my application using selenium i was feeling lucky and also tensed. I was the only person to deal with selenium. I came over all problems with tutorials provided online.
Role Model
My role model is my dad. Its because he always thought me how to learn new things. He always says "Dont depend on any one, dont think some one will come and help you." Its always you who should learn it by yourself. He also thought me how to be calm and peaceful in critical situations.
Most Important Decisions
The most important career decisions i have mad is, to take computer science and information technology in my graduation. When i was entering counseling hall for taking seat in any of the engineering college. Initially i thought of taking Mechanical branch but later i changed to CSIT.
Plans for the Future
I would definitely like to see my self in a very good position like QA Lead.
Most Important Lessons
The most important lesson i learn from my professional life is, love your job not your company. If we start liking our job then we can always grow not only as professionally but also personally.
Essential Advice
My advice would be definitely telling freshers to take part in Testing domain at least for one year before you make your career into development or any other domains. Here we would think in all the ways possible and make out such points where a normal person can not do.
Tech trends to watch out for
I have been going to technology trends these days, i have been watching tutorials like AutoHotKey, AutoIT. All these technologies plays vital role in some part of the life for QA person.
Changes in the industry
Initially people used to say, you are working as a tester. such works are done by girls with is really easy. when i started working as a tester, i came to know how important is testing team in software industry. Now the boom for testing industry is pretty good and guys really want to be a tester's.
Areas for the Future
Areas of specialization within QA domain that will matter most in future would be Performance. Even if the application is good and running if performance is slow then client would show no interest in taking the application.
Current and Previous Responsibilities
My current role and responsibilities with Codon Software are, Automation test engineer with little knowledge in performance tool using jmeter.
Parting thoughts
Ya definitely i would to share some thing. I would like to appreciate people who are working with silicon india. i like the way people there working and keeping track of every one. And conducting conference on new technologies to help tester to grow better in there career.
Currently working at
My current job profile is, Software Test Engineer. Working with selenium tool for functional testing and jmeter tool for Performance testing.
