About Krishna Kumar's family

I come from a middle class family from small town Hazaribag. My father is govt. Contractor and mother is house maker. My roots are from Bihar and my father migrated to south Bihar in 1971 looking out for oppertunity. I call him as serial entrepenuer as he experimented multiple buisnesses.
Currently working at
I am Founder & CEO of CropIn technology Solution Pvt. Ltd. We operate in Agriculture sector providing real time Farm Monitoring and traceability. My current profile is to Interact with industry,Cutomer Relationship,Investors Relationship and strategic alliances along with contribution in technology.
Plans for the Future
We see sound growth of CropIn technology in coming years and becoming leader in its own space. We will also be expanding in international market like Asia, Africa, Argentina,America and European market.
A Fine Balance:
I am yet single, so not a challenge as if now. But yes someday need to learn this balanced approach.
Role Model
Mr. Ratan Tata.. Becoz he created business based on ethics and I consider him Face of India. He is a rare personality.
Most Important Decisions
When I was conceptualizing CropIn Concept, I was part of GE Prestigious IMLP program (Leadership Program). It was a promising carrer, but decided to leave it half way to start my own Venture.
The Journey So Far
Krishna Kumar is 4.5 years experience with rich experience in working with global company such as GE and has worked with best of breed technology and business processes in India & US. Satrted His career as an Engineer and then moved to leadership by Joining IMLP Leaders Program at GE.
Points of inflection
Once I got chance have dialogue with CIO-GE Mr. Sajin. He asked about my career Plan. I replied that I have Plan to get into my own venture. he was supportive and offered help. This was a tipping point.
Current and Previous Responsibilities
My prious role at GE was Managing Critical Projects and Managing People.But My current role at startup demands a lot. In my current role I majorly focus on customer relationship, Investor relationship, strategic allianceas and technology .
