Parting thoughts
I do voluntary mentoring activities and I have almost more than 200+ mentees all over who gets in touch with me periodically and seek guidance. I like writing small articles and white papers. I had an opportunity to publish 15 articles and white papers on different websites as well as magazines

I see myself as successful professional looking to contribute to CSR activities.I would like to join NGO or an institution who helps poor students to complete their career successfully

IT service management will continue to gain lots of importance along with cloud based services.Quality models such as ITIL ,agile way of doing developments will remain on top
Required Reading
SEI website provides lots of Quality model based information.In addition IT service management related websites will be useful to learn service management best practices. Recommending single book or publication in QA/Testing will be difficult
Tech trends to watch out for
QA/Testing in mobile application will gain lot of importance. Automation of testing practices will be in high demand. From career stand point every such need of functional demand to IT application will provide good scope for career in terms of Innovation and for maintenance services of application
Essential Advice
Those who start making career in QA/Testing domain shall look for making difference and value additions in their way of working,Think how IT services can be delivered in faster,better and cheaper way with high returns to their customers. QA/Testing is such a domain which will never get extinguished

I started my career as electrical engineer and spent 16 years in Elect engg ,telecom,data com, setting up of IT function and then moved to Quality and IT Consulting, Program and Projects Management,Delivery excellence for next 13 years.I had an opportunity to work in USA, Australia,Japan,Saudi

A Fine Balance:
This is too difficult at times when expectations from both side are high but one need to learn to find the way to manage by dynamically balancing the priorities. If one can manage his work efficiently and smartly the work life balance is better

Currently working in the role of Quality Director(VP)in Polaris Financial Technology Ltd.Iam responsible for implementing Quality assurance practices for business units with multiple projects and helping them getting certified for ITIL,ISO20K ,CMMI framework
Changes in the industry
QA/Testing industry has changed a lot although basic need of profession has remained same. Clients are increasingly expecting defect free and early delivery of IT services. Today all services are business outcome based and tied with service levels and penalties
