About Rajesh Bhutra's family
I belong to a middle class family and grew in a joint family environment. Father is into Tax Consultancy and mother a house wife.
Went into IT environment from the age of 15 as father started an IT Co then. Wife a Masters in Hindi (School Teacher) blessed with 2 children's manages my life.
Advice For New Professionals:
Use your inherent talent to the fullest and improvise.
Never shy away to lead from the front and always create examples for the others.
Always say Yes to the right methods and processes and NO to unfair means and deals.Never take a short cut to success.
Specialize in your area of interest.
Working Life Management:
I love working by nature and that keeps me going. Initial results drives me for a long inning.My work pressure goes off when I unwind with my daughter and family. I love visiting new places,meeting new people as it gives me fresh ideas of handling sales. I Love watching movies and family outings.
I always had crush for electronic gadgets. Took electronics as addl subject in class IX-X and experimented with making musical bells,radios with telephonic frequency,clap on dimmer lights.Did a certification in Web Designing and ECommerce in 2002 but could not pursue due to demand then.
The Decisions That Matter
Started IT career at age 16. Dropped CA to continue IT in '93. Ventured into Telecom business in Feb'03 with RCOM. Started Mangalam International Pvt Ltd with IT,Telecom and related products. Added WS Radio in 2006. Joined NCS in Jan'10 to start a career in App Software.
Degrees That Matter:
MBA in IT with Specilisation in Retail Management
It is CEO Mr Manohar Malani CMD NCS Group. He transformed my life in last during my stint in that group and made me speciaise in my present domain.He worked on every aspect of my nature and ensured it improved.
He gave me work roadmap to redefine myself.Advised me to be activer listener and not to jump to conclusions.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
The IT line has lost its charm it had in the period 1986-2000. Hard work to success mantra have changed to short term gains. Continues cost cutting has reduced the IT hardware margins and thus the earning in hand. It is difficult for a IT professional to survive in down trend .

My job covers complete overall responsibility of the product called FusionRetail. It starts with generating leads ,developing channels and closing sales.Meeting targets and supervising support and client relationship with study of their customized requirements. Managing relations with principal Co.
The current job profile vis a vis the previous Co is a sea change. Present involves dealing with a application software wherein the previous relates to Telecom. In current job every requirement of a customer differs from the other. The previous job had a defined routine without much innovation.
The Journey So Far:
When I look back at my IT career I do not regret . Where ever I have reached today is the outcome of my experience of so many years in IT. It comes naturally to me. The domain expertise through experience has increased my IT career for many more years to come.
