About Prabhjot Singh Bakshi's family

My Father worked in ONGC, and was the head of project in Surat and Ahmedabad, my father migrated from Pakistan during partition and mother migrated from Burma. Now parents along with an elder brother settled in Ahmedabad city.
Tech trends to watch out for
The QA and testing is very important in latest work. I am developing mobile apps for Microsoft Dubai and other clients, on windows phone and iPhone platforms. The manual testing is some thing you cannot escape in mobile apps. Eg the apps get rejected if its a very common idea.

As far as mobile app testing is concern we follow the apple and windows market space guidelines called as "certification guideline" it keeps updating. Beside this we have in built performance and memory leak testing tools in the developer tool- visual studio and Xcode.
Essential Advice
For mobile app, An individual with Manual testing and concept execellence expertise skills will have an edge. Let me give you an example, now in order to make it windows 8 app store, app need to pass app excellence lab of Microsoft globally. I mean your idea need to be unique also.Exposure Needed.
Changes in the industry
It's just not about an App performance and memory leak... In mobile apps it's all about Idea, concept and end user exoerience. A Quality Assurance from conceptualition till execution needed. Also need to follow ui guideline of the market store. It's more of human inputs and broad room discussion
Current and Previous Responsibilities
Earlier I was a trainer, now I make apps now am a mobile app developer. Testing or QA come by default. Each work of mine has to pass through testing phase of apple store or Microsoft markets space. Now testing is much in the life of a mobile app developer in order to make it to market.
The Journey So Far
1996, MBA from NMIMS-Mumbai.Worked in an Ad Agency Percept-Mumbai. Started Informatic centre in 1998.In 2003 became Microsoft Certified Trainer. till 2011 hard core corporate IT trainer.2011 saw angry bird and became Mobile app developer, now having app Developing company in India and Dubai.
Currently working at
I am Owner of BSP Information Technology and Communition in India, Ahmedabad and Also owner of Econsultancyfzc in Dubai (UAE).I interact with client, code and do the maintenace along with my team. Also still conducts training for Accenture, Microsoft India, Microsoft Dubai and Many more.
Areas for the Future
For Mobile Industry. it will be "Application Excellence Lab" wherein we bain storm idea and concept. and Then post Launch Analysing the feedback of Customer and incorporating the enhancements.
Parting thoughts
I feel the trend is Changing. With Mobile apps lot of young, small time companies are taking Birth. Huge opportunity ahead. The angry bird kind of brands are not from any of these big known IT corporate Houses. The quality of app will matter a lot in near future.
Plans for the Future
Will be known for one or two good apps in the Market space.
Most Important Decisions
Moving to IT industry in 2003 and then In 2011 Training session in Nokia on windows phone for Microsoft and Accenture. I relaised the potential of Mobile App world.
