I am married and blessed with a son.
Role Model
My father, He struggled throughout his life and achieved lots of things in his field (Army). He is the most honest and hardworking person I have ever seen in my life.
Changes in the industry
After completion of my graduation when I started working as a QA professional this industry was not much recognised even I have met some senior industry setters who don’t even take this as a serious business, but now in 2012 QA have emerged as a standalone industry and its blooming day by day.
Currently working at
I am working as a lead test engineer, where handling different project and respective QA teams, also I working as UAT consultant where handling project UAT activities in different horizons. Handling Presales activities as well as client communications.
Most Important Decisions
The most important decision was that I keep myself stuck to a specific domain which helps me to understand in and out of that particular domain. Even my thinking is that instead of multiple things only do one thing but do it with perfection and dedication.
Degrees that Matter
Yes ofcourse it does, I have done ISTQB, CSTE, and now a days preparing for PMP.
Required Reading
any one can browse, qaforums.com, linkdin qa forums etc. there are so may blogs forums available but in the end only thing which matters is your actual expereince.
Essential Advice
1. Clear fundamentals, 2. Must have some development experience, 3. Pay attention towards you comm skills, 4. Choose a field and devote yourself to it i.e. functional/Performance/Security/ etc, 5. Not only explore even explode your thinking this will help you to change your existing way of thinking
Most Important Lessons
1. Professionalism, 2. Devotion, 3. No Politics
A Fine Balance:
Just keep both the life’s apart, whenever you are with your family members just forget about office, and when you are in office just forget about your personal life.
Areas for the Future
1. Security testing has a very large scope in future 2. Performance testing will be evergreen it will never go down.

I want see myself as a independent UAT consultant

Professional journey was full of ups and downs where I have seen two major market slumps but have also seen fully blossomed IT market. It’s an exciting journey where you need dedication and perfect professionalism to survive.
