Most Important Lessons
To understand customer requirements aptly, and to make sure that you build a solid communication chain with them. It's very important to follow up with your clients and not keep them waiting. Morever, there have been times, When Emails needed constant attention and you have to adhere to deadlines.
Plans for the Future
I see myself as an Information Architect & Entrepreneur, Building world class secure Information systems & Web/Mobile Applications.
The Journey So Far
I graduated with a Bachelors of Engineering in Information Technology from Mumbai University in 2012. I also hold an Associate Diploma in Computer Technology and will be pursuing my Master's in Information Systems with specialization in Internet Computing from United States.
Most Important Decisions
Most Important decisions were - changing and migrating to different platforms, hiring in house staff rather than outsourcing, moving to a private VPN Hosting and setting up an automated billing system & CRM etc.
Changes in the industry
It has come along a long way. Now there are special domains for Quality Assurance and certifications for the Testing aspirants. Also I have seen a trend of outsourcing Testing to Indian companies which means that India will soon be a Hub of User & Acceptance Testing.
Currently working at
I am the CTO and Founder of Trindr.com - an app that connects travelers at the airport in Real time. The money that I invested in this startup, was earned from my parent company Meente Co Solutions. At Meente Co, we cater to Web, IT and Mobiles solution requirements for clients worldwide.
Faisal Farooqui, CEO of MouthShut.com. The way he started up Moutshut.com in 1999 when Internet penetration in India was a distant dream. Morever, I respect him as an Individual.
A Fine Balance:
It was demanding to juggle between engineering classes and running a Startup Company. I use to carry my laptop everywhere, and attend clients in middle of college break. There have been times when I have written an Exam and also went for a client meeting on the same day.
An Engineering degree/BSC IT coupled with Industrial exposure/Internships and Certifications.
