QA driven automation is the latest trend in the industry which gives us an opportunity to develop, explore and learn new tools and technologies. QA has to thrive in reducing manual efforts and move towards automation to achieve consistent and accurate results.

I work for the Mobile Enterprise Services, a Business Unit of Syniverse Technologies India Pvt Ltd.,as a QA Team Lead and technically leading the QA effort from Bangalore office.
Being a senior member in the team,I am responsible for the quality and timely project deliverable besides mentoring team
Most Important Decisions
Leaving my previous job as Lead QA in Bell softech and joining Syniverse as SSE was one of the important and tough decisions.Stayed a project release because of a critical bug in the software there by avoiding embarrassment and cost to the company. Decision to explore and take up new tools/technology
QA has to emulate a customer and test the application. Cost of a QA miss could be disasterous to the company hence one should be responsible, innovative, self motivated and think out of the box solutions.
Areas for the Future
Automation, and Domain Expertise
Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, born and brought up from lower middle class family achieving greater heights yet being humble. His mantras "No shortcut to success except hard work and dedication." and "To dream big" has given hopes and inspired millions of people.
Most Important Lessons
There are no good or bad Professionals/Organizations. Everything has two faces. With these challenges one has to think out of box and thrive for a quality and timely deliverables of projects. Consider views of every team member.
A Fine Balance:
I am a strong believer of "Health is Wealth" and socializing, hence balancing one's personal and professional life becomes a greater priority for me. Prioritizing tasks and time management is very critical to achieve this.

Become a successful human being, meaning, recognized as a good professional in 360 degree feedback both professionally and personally. Helping/Mentoring team members to greater scale. Create a fun filled working environment.
The Journey So Far
Seven long years in this industry has been filled with lots of surprises and puzzles, I have tested from a single component to an entire product including production environment setup for live traffic and testing production issues. Worked with teams like Operations,Product,client,Network,DBA.
