I completed my schooling and college from Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). My Father retired from BHEL. We are 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I Got the job in bhopal in 1994 and later moved to TCFC finance Ltd., then transferred from there to GMAC Financial Service India Ltd and Moved to Chennai (HO.
Changes in the industry
When i joined "Sundaram Infotech Solutions" as Business Analyst,we have to do Manual Testing (I.e Functional Testing)and every IT sector have there own testing tools,but we believe in Manual Testing.In most of IT sectors they prefer to test through a Tool (Testing Software),which skips some function
Current and Previous Responsibilities
My current role (in NEC India Pvt.Ltd.) is Requirement Gathering from Client,Coordination with Client for Clarification and Developer. In my Previous role I have to Write the Scope Documents,Manual Testing and coordination with developersetc.
Required Reading
In my opinion i don't suggest any books,website etc, But the person should understand the concept and personally take interest in doing the job and check/test/do the things in all angles. Apart from this before executing the things he/she should think in all prospects/angles related to the outcome.
Plans for the Future
Here in my new assignment we have the opportunity to serve "Asis-Pacific" clients and by this the future is excellent and I'll be in a Good Position (May be heading the Team and handle Asia-Pacific Region for Business Analyst/Testing).
Degrees that Matter
Mere certification is not enough. How the person understand the things/Concepts/ Logics in the work environment matters. He/She should think in all angles in the IT Sector (Specially applicable for Testers/QA).
Currently working at
My current role (in NEC India Pvt.Ltd.) is Demo to New Clients (If Required), Requirement Gathering from Client,Coordination/Clarification with Client for Clarification and Developer.Coordination with Head- BD/Marketing, Assist the "Business Analyst" for Writeup and Review the Writeup etc.
Parting thoughts
Again and Again one thing I want to tell is How the person understand the things/Concepts/ Logics in the work environment matters. He/She should think in all angles in the IT Sector (Specially applicable for Testers/QA/Developers).

Areas for the Future
Now a days more and more IT Sectors are using Tools for Testing purpose, but that does not solve all the problems,Rather Manual Testing can give the solutions. The QA Team should check all the documents, efforts,time etc related to the said enhancements/new project implementation as per co.policy.

Shifted from "Sundaram Infotech Solutions" to the New Company "NEC India Pvt. Ltd" have a Challenging Job.
