Most Important Decisions
I was wanted to become mech engineer, but later changed my mind to learn computers. I got an opportunity to work in digital space, I thought to grab that by accepting that offer. That was one of the most important career decisions that I have made as it led me handle different teams/processes
Most Important Lessons
1) Respect everyone 2) always gather information before act 3) Check your inbox regularly and read your emails multiple times before sending it 4) Respect company policies 5) Be reachable 6) No one can train you everything, you need to learn yourself 7) Change is inevitable
Plans for the Future
I would definitely want to see myself in the top management of any company in 5-10 years from now
A Fine Balance:
By thinking about only work during working hours
Currently working at
I'm working as a Sr. Team Lead and managing Business Analyst teams. My responsibility is to on board the new accounts/projects, to provide necessary training support for the team members, work distribution, client interaction, issue resolution, work on growth plan,Gap analysis, process improvement.
Parting thoughts
Digital Space is a huge space and lot more to learn in this domain. In my 6.5 years exp, I have learnt a lot and would like to expand my knowledge by learning more new stuffs.
The Journey So Far
Joined theorem in Nov 2005 as Campaign management specialist Got a promotion as DB developer in Dec 2006 Became Team coordinator of DB team in 2007 Got a promotion as TL for DB and Web dev teams in 2008, started to handle BA teams since 2010. became STL in 2010 Nov and continued to handle BA teams
Changes in the industry
There was more manual inventions when we were doing QA. Now technology has improved a lot, also I'm no more be a part of QA space anymore however as BA we will have to do various testings by ourselves to test the final file.
Role Model
There were few who inspired me, Madhukar who was my first manager taught me what is professionalism. Harsha Melanta who showed me how best we can lead our people and Ravindra who guided me how I should be with people
Current and Previous Responsibilities
I need to handle teams which work on BA domain. There will be changes we need to adopt with regularly and I should take my team into right direction. TL should be a bridge between employees and management so conveying companys msg to employees & make them to agree to it would need us to be assertive
